On returning to school from their outing to Greencastle, the children in Key Stage Two worked with Mr Declan Carville and Mr Jim Russell to develop a story and illustrations. They named key characters and locations in the story, brainstormed ideas, drafted paragraphs, edited their writing and finally produced a story they were proud of. They entitled their work ‘Listen to the Wind: A Postcard from Greencastle’, as it was inspired by the weather on the day we visited.
