Primary One, Two and Three children enjoyed their annual autumn treasure hunt in Kilbroney Park on Thursday 19th October 2014. The children were delighted to act like ‘little squirrels’ as they enthusiastically searched in pairs for items on their treasure hunt list.
They also visited the ‘Narnia’ area in the park, but couldn’t find Mr Tumnus! There was great excitment looking for fairies at the little fairy homes. A well-deserved picnic was enjoyed by all before a short play. Thankfully the weather was favourable and it was a lovely bright, dry morning ... just until they stepped onto the bus to return to school when the rain began!
