We were delighted to carry out a beach clean at Greencastle today, our first since 2019.
The children worked in groups, starting at opposite ends of the beach and meeting in the middle. They carefully collected rubbish and assembled it in the car park at the ferry, ready for collection by Mourne Heritage Trust.
Thank you to NMDDC and several parents who kindly donated gloves, hi vis, letter pickers and drinks for the children.
The children and staff are proud to do their part to clean up our local environment.
