We had a very special morning in school today as we celebrated our end of year Mass with all of the pupils and many family members. This was a particularly poignant Mass for our Primary 7 children as it was their last Mass as a Grange pupil. Mrs Thompson had prepared beautiful readings, prayers and special offertory gifts with the children and they participated with pride. Thank you to Fr. Cahill for leading the lovely ceremony. Following the Mass, all of the pupils, families of Primary 7 children and invited guests went to the school hall for special presentations. The Primary 7 children were presented with their records of achievement and special momentos by which they can remember Grange in the years ahead. There were presentations of individual awards. Some of the Friends of Grange had prepared tea and treats for everyone and there was cake or biscuits for every child in school. Everyone in attendance agreed that it was a lovely occasion.
