Thank you to everyone who attended our celebration in school to mark the conclusion of 'Fairies at Grange'.
Both the children and adults in school were delighted to have the support of families and invited guests. It wouldn’t have been a ‘celebration’ without them!
Everyone enjoyed watching the children’s digital story 'A View from the Window: Michael's Fairytale Adventure', meeting Declan, Jim and Orlaith and hearing all about the background to the project.
We're not sure if the fairies themselves attended the celebration - though I did hear reports of fairy dust being spotted on the window sills outside the assembly hall. Perhaps they DID attend after all. We'll never know.
A delicious supper was provided by ‘The Penny Wall’ at Kilkeel Golf Club.
It was a very special evening in Grange and was all made possible by Awards for All lottery funding.
