The boys and girls in Primary 5, 6 and 7 are having a fantastic time on their Fairies project. They spent lots of time creating a story about fairies with author Declan Carville and sketching scenes for every part of the story with illustrator Jim Russell. Now, they are working with Orlaith Cullinane from the AMMA centre, Armagh on creating a digital storybook. They used the app Puppet Pals to turn their drawings into animations, adding sound effects too. Then, they edited their work using I-Movie. As well as developing their Literacy, Art and ICT skills, pupils have been learning all about the language of film and types of shot that professional movie makers use.
