Today we said ‘Farewell’ to our Primary Seven class with a day of celebrations.
We began with Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church which was attended by our school community and the parents of Primary 7. The Primary 7 children participated with reverence and pride, ably assisted by Louisa’s beautiful singing of the psalm and Ava on guitar.
This was followed by an awards ceremony in the school hall when special presentations were made to all children and some shields presented. A cup of tea was enjoyed by parents and children afterwards.
In the afternoon it was party time 🥳. We welcomed back DJ Gerry and all of the children enjoyed a disco in the hall. In the middle of the dancing there were treats and juice for everyone. It was so much fun and a fantastic end to the school year for all of our children.
