The boys and girls in P6/7 are having a fantastic time with their World Around Us topic "Flight". They constructed kites and tested them to see which one would fly the furthest. Then they constructed two kites - one which was twice the size of the first - to see if a kite's size would impact how far it would fly. They also were very busy in a Sentinus Flight workshop - designing and constructing rockets then propelling them at a target. They have learned so much about the forces of flight. Huge thanks to Ciaran from Sentinus and Cormac from NIE for such an engaging workshop - the children loved it!
