We are delighted to be able to tell you that we have received details from the Parish concerning dates and times to celebrate the sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion.
Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered by Rev. Fr. Sean Dillon in St. Colman’s Church, Massforth on:
Monday 21st September at 2.30pm
Important to note:
Due to COVID restrictions, each child for Confirmation is permitted to have 2 adults and 1 sponsor (no other children or adults) attend the ceremony
First Holy Communion
The Sacrament of First Holy Communion will be celebrated in St. Colman’s Church, Massforth on:
Sunday 27th September at 11.130am
Important to note:
Due to COVID restrictions, each child for Confirmation is permitted to have 2 adults (no other children or adults) attend the ceremony
This celebration will be streamed live on www.mournefilm.com. In these exceptional circumstances your family and friends who remain at home are invited to join in the ceremony virtually. Fr. Dillon has requested that they light a candle at home at the beginning of Mass.
Further details and arrangements for the celebration of the sacraments will be sent to families in the coming weeks.
