We had a very special morning in school today as we celebrated Grandparents Day. The children and their Grandparents attended Mass and afterwards came together in the hall where they had lovely refreshments served by the Friends of Grange. It was such a lovely sight to see our school hall so full. Laughter and smiles filled the whole room.
Thank you to all our Grandparents who were able to attend today – our photographs say it all. As Primary one sang their song so well at Mass, we have used their poem to acknowledge all our Grandparents on this very special day.
Grandparents are meant for kisses and hugs,
For watching rainbows and catching bugs,
For baking all of your favourite things,
For books to read and songs to sing.
