Life Cycle of a Butterfly

The children in Primary 3/4 really enjoyed observing the life cycle of a butterfly.

The children watched as the caterpillars munched their way through lots of food and got fatter and fatter.

It was great to observe the caterpillars in their cocoon.

The boys and girls were delighted when they observed the butterflies emerging from their cocoons!!

The butterflies were then released into our wonderful new herb garden.
