As part of their Maths Week celebrations, Primary 2 and 3 welcomed some very special visitors into their classroom today. Mrs Cahill along with Kirya and Darragh from St Louis Grammar school discussed with the children the use of Maths in everyday life and how Mrs Cahill’s teaching job differs to that of a primary school teacher.
The children’s knowledge of numeracy was then tested in a code breaking activity along with a data handling task which all the boys and girls completed with help from our wonderful past pupils.
It was so lovely to have Mrs Cahill, Kirya and Darragh in school today and we really appreciate the time they took to celebrate and problem solve with us.
