Primary One have been learning about shadows.
They have been waiting on a lovely sunny day to go outside and investigate how our shadows 'work'.
This morning the sun was shining so we went outside to do some exploring.
The children looked at how long their shadows were, how they could make different shapes and even played shadow tag. Some children realised that if they sat on the bench nobody could catch them by standing on their shadow!
Everyone paid a visit to the fairies before going back to the classroom.
