Pupils in P6/7 have been learning all about the history of Down GAA to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Down’s first All Ireland win. They researched the crest, home and away strips and created their own Down team. They found out information about the 1960 and 1961 games, including looking at newspaper articles, match programs and Croke Park tickets.
