Parachute Science Experiment 🪂
9th Jan 2025
Primary 6/7 are completing their WAU topic on ‘Flight’. To link with this, they completed an experiment where they constructed parachutes to protect an egg from breaking during a fall. Using a variety of materials, they were able to work together to test different designs to see what could slow the egg down and cushion the landing.
This experiment also developed their critical thinking skills as they had to think about forces and gravity. The results were egg-citing, with many pupils keeping their eggs intact!🥚 Great teamwork everyone!
