Karen from RSPB visited our school today and began by working with Primary One.
The children heard a lovely story about a little hedgehog who had been asleep for the winter, woke up in Spring and set off exploring.
Karen gave everyone an explorers bag and led an interactive activity in which the children explored in the school grounds,using their senses.
The children looked, listened, smelt and felt their way around the playground and garden completing various challenges.
We are so glad that Karen came to visit and thank her for taking us exploring today.
We look forward to working on the tasks that Karen has set for us to complete before her next visit!
