Primary 6/7 welcomed Noel from Arc 21 to their classroom today to remind them of the importance of recycling all year round and particularly at Christmas.
The children were fascinated to learn about the cost of having a black, blue and brown bin emptied each year and about the impact of landfill sites on the environment.
They revised what should be placed in each colour of bin and were rewarded with a craft activity from Noel following their engagement in the discussions and learning.
