Safer Internet Day 2020
We began to mark 'Safer Internet Day 2020' at assembly today with a special presentation about staying safe online.
We talked about all of the good ways we can use the internet and some of the ways in which it can be used to cause harm. We talked about our 'identity' and how children need to keep their identify safe online, as well as behave online in the same way as they would face-to-face.
Each class will continue to focus on internet safety this week, particularly tomorrow which is designated country-wide as 'Safer Internet Day'.
We understand the challenges parents and grandparents face in keeping up-to-date with online safety. However, is a vitally important topic which cannot be avoided.
