Mrs Digney’s class had a wonderful visit this morning from Mr Ciaran Lynch, Sentinus Smart Energy Team and Mr Cormac Bradley, an electrical/electronic Engineer from NIE Networks. The children welcomed Ciaran back to our school after working alongside him last year on our ‘Wind Turbine’ project.
The children set to work; planning and constructing a ‘Solar Powered Desk Fan’ with help from Ciaran and Cormac. With careful consideration and a lot of perseverance – all of the completed fans worked!
The children will welcome Cormac back for a further two sessions before travelling to Jordanstown once again to present their Smart Energy Project.
