There was great anticipation today as we awaited the arrival of some special visitors to Grange - members of the An Riocht Senior panel and their new prized possession the WJ Farrell Cup.
Brian, James, Sean, Deaglan, Turlough and Edmund paid a visit to each class and had much-treasured photos taken.
It was a particularly special occasion for Charlotte in Primary One who welcomed her daddy James to the classroom!
We were also delighted to have Brian back in Grange. Some of the staff remember him kitted out in a Grange jersey not so very long ago.
The children were delighted to have their heroes in school and to hold the cup. Primary 6/7 also took the opportunity to ask some questions in preparation for the newspaper reports they’ve begun writing.
We are most grateful to each of the visitors for taking the time to call with us today and give encouragement to our young footballers and camogs to be the best they can be. 🏐
