Viking Ship Experiment
Primary 5 and 6 Viking Experiment: Floating and Sinking
Primary 5/6 have been hard at work exploring the fascinating world of the Vikings through a hands-on science experiment focused on floating and sinking. This engaging project allowed our young learners to delve into the principles of buoyancy and density, all while connecting with historical themes.
The children crafted their own Viking ships using various materials, testing their designs to see which would float or sink. Through trial and error, they discovered the importance of balance, weight distribution, and material choice. This experiment not only enhanced their understanding of scientific concepts but also fostered teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
We are incredibly proud of the dedication and enthusiasm shown by our Primary 5 and 6 students. Their hard work and curiosity have truly brought the Viking era to life in our classrooms!
