We welcomed Anna Killen from NI Water in to our school to remind the boys and girls of the effects of plastic pollutions, the importance of saving water and how the water treatment plants work to clean our water. It was a very interesting morning and the boys and girls learnt lots of new things!
Anna very kindly gave every child a 4 minute shower timer to see if they can complete the challenge of finishing their shower before the sand runs out. We hope that we can all dust off old habits of wasting water and create some new ones that are good for the environment!
