We are delighted to share the tremendous news that Josie from Primary 7 has won the junior section of the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Environmental Youth Speak Competition. Josie was tasked with writing and delivering a 5 minute speech on being an Energy Detective who investigates ways to save energy. Yesterday she attended the Council Offices in Downpatrick with her family, were she presented her speech in a competition against 7 other children and won!
This is an outstanding achievement for Josie who has shown so much devotion to our Eco Schools Programme since Primary 1. Our whole school community is so proud of her. Congratulations Josie!
